Geneva, Switzerland, 25 August 2010 – During an all-day event WBCSD, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and Keidanren Committee on Nature Conservation (KCNC) will discuss adaptive business strategies and government and corporate policy frameworks to reduce and eventually reverse ecosystem degradation and biodiversity loss.
Geneva, 26 July 2010 – On July 13, the long awaited The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) for Business Report was released. The report concludes that companies ignoring sustainable management of biodiversity as an integral part of their business plans will find themselves outpaced by the marketplace. Geneva, 1 July 2010 - The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) announced today that HP has joined the Eco-Patent Commons. HP has contributed three patents to this unique initiative aimed at making patents freely available to enable the development of products that protect the environment.
